At Geller’s, we are continually updating our training and product knowledge to bring you the latest and greatest in the world of fertilizer and pest control. We are IMP (Integrated Pest Management) certified to ensure you have certified, well trained staff working on your lawn.

With new regulations in place from the Province of Manitoba regulating pesticide use, we have had to alter our programs.

All programs use our seasonally blended, polymer coated, granular fertilizer called Polyon. Our fertilizer is heat activated, to ensure a consistent flow of nutrients to your lawn. This fertilizer limits leaching caused by heavy rains, and avoids the short lived effects of liquid fertilizer. No watering is needed. Polyon will last in your lawn for up to twelve weeks! In the spring, we use a liquid based fertilizer with our first application to kick start your lawn into a thick green lawn. Using a combination of fertilizers gives your lawn the benefits associated with both liquid and granular fertilizer applications!

To control broadleaf weeds in your lawn, we use an eco-friendly pesticide called Fiesta. This is an iron based product, with results showing in less then 24 hours! Multiple applications are required to control established weeds, so our application timing has been altered from traditional programs.
To ensure accurate pricing and cut down on unnecessary pesticide use, all properties will be viewed by a properly trained Geller’s technician before initial booking.
