What are Fiberglass pools?

Pre-engineered fiberglass pools are handcrafted, in-mould pools that come to your property ready to be installed in-ground in your yard. Millions of glass threads are woven together to make the fiberglass, which is then coated in a polyester resin. Fiberglass is extremely durable, yet flexible, resulting in perfect  in-ground pools, engineered specifically for our climate in Manitoba. There is no risk of corrosion with a fiberglass pool, making them ideal for saltwater systems. Fiberglass pools typically use between 30 - 50% less chemicals then a traditional pool installation.

Review the many advantages of a fiberglass listed below, such as sun and lounge ledges, swim up bars and seating areas, wrinkle free seamless steps, and many more!

The in-ground fiberglass pools we install come with a lifetime warranty - and they don’t require a liner, so no need to worry about the cost of a replacement!

For any backyard function or style, fiberglass provides homeowners with a wide range of pre-engineered solutions, including:

Shapes and Features

Selecting a fiberglass pool is the first step to a low maintenance resort style home. Your in-ground fiberglass pool will improve the exterior appeal of your house and backyard.  Classic linear, free-form, Roman, and kidney-shaped fiberglass pools are just a few of the designs and sizes we offer. We can also add LED lights, tanning ledges, bubblers, and more.

Swim-Up Seating:

An ideal way to enjoy your swimming pool is with swim-up seating. The pool now includes a fantastic conversation space thanks to the benches and seats. These provide an excellent way to relax. Swim-up seating has even been referred to as a beverage bench by some customers!

Multiple Points of Entry and Exits:

Multiple points of entry and exit have several benefits. With the placement of the pool and patios, there is more design flexibility. Naturally, the position of the pool is restricted if there is only one corner from which you may access it. Additionally, several entry and exit points are best for swimmers who might become tired easily.

Wading Area & Sun Decks:

A fiberglass pool design with a nice wading area can be a feature you might want to consider if you're searching for a terrific location for kids to splash and play. Wading areas offer deeper water than tanning ledges, and are a space for your entire body to submerge. A wading area typically has water that is between 14" and 18" deep.

Built-In Spa:

A built-in spa provides the extra benefit of ultimate relaxation. Enjoy yourself and lose yourself in your own backyard. Improve blood circulation and provide a break from the grind. Melt away stress that has built up and give yourself some well-deserved me-time.

Slip Resistant Steps:

These provide safe access points to the pool. The swimming pool can be used by both children and adults, therefore it is crucial to have a practical entryway. All entry stairs are easy for the feet and boost security and stability.

Lighting:

There are many opportunities to add creative pool lights for inground pools for a more radiant appearance if you're wanting to appreciate your pool for both daytime and nighttime activities. The selection of LED lights for swimming pools that we have access to includes a wide range of lights, from in-ground to coloured illuminators that can be activated with a tap on your smartphone!

Autocovers

Automatic pool covers are dependable, safe, and simple to use. With the touch of a button, your automatic safety cover can be opened or closed. For homeowners who want to prevent accidents or keep loved ones and pets out of harm's way, automatic pool covers give incredible peace of mind. Further, an automatic cover will prevent water and heat loss due to evaporation. Your automated safety cover will cover your pool and create a barrier that neither a child nor a pet can penetrate with the simple flip of a switch. Every automated cover is made from top-notch components and is specifically tailored to fit your pool.

Quick Fiberglass Pool Installation

Fiberglass pools are very efficient to install and very long-lasting. They are pre-engineered, which makes the installation procedure go quickly. You can begin using your new pool in as little as 1 week from the beginning of your project build. Comparatively, installing a vinyl pool can take anywhere from 3-4 weeks and concrete pools as long as 3-6 months. While vinyl pools must be constructed on site, which can lengthen the construction process and keep your yard in disarray for a lot longer, fiberglass pools can be craned in and set up within a couple of days.

How Long Do Fiberglass Pools Last?

Fiberglass swimming pools can survive as long as the property they are placed in. For context, consider the fact that fiberglass pools installed in the 1960s are still standing today! With an eight-element manufacturing process and greater compressive strength, carbon-infused solutions offer thickness and durability that are unmatched in the market.

Fiberglass pools offer the lowest maintenance profile in comparison to other pool options. Additionally, fiberglass is easy to clean and limits the formation of algae thanks to the sturdy, smooth finish. There are also no high maintenance costs, such as those associated with replacing liners in vinyl pools. Additionally, fiberglass pools require 30% - 50% less chemical to maintain cleanliness than other pool varieties.
