Job Role:
Lead and manage all human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations,
and organizational development to support the continued growth and success of Geller’s.
Job Description:
The Workforce Development Manager (WDM) will oversee key areas of HR such as talent
acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement. You will lead recruitment
efforts for all departments, ensuring Geller’s maintains a skilled workforce across design,
construction, and maintenance divisions. Your role will include implementing best practices for
employee retention and engagement, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance
with legal and regulatory standards.
You will collaborate with management to enhance team dynamics, oversee compensation,
benefits administration, and contribute to shaping the company’s culture. This role requires a
strong focus on promoting a positive and inclusive work environment that reflects the company’s
values of consistent quality, an engaging work environment, and true destination employer.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in HR management, preferably within design, construction, or
landscaping industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• High level of organization and self-motivation.
• Ability to use HR management systems and related software.
Daily Tasks Include:
• Manage the full cycle of recruitment for design, build, and landscape teams.
• Onboard new hires and conduct training programs.
• Support employee development through performance reviews and professional growth
initiatives.
• Handle employee relations issues, mediating conflicts and fostering a positive work
environment.

• Full-time
Expected Hours:
• Monday to Friday
• 8AM - 4:30PM
• Flexible, home office work policy
• Mandated office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Office is located in Winnipeg’s historic Exchange district
• Remote work Monday/ Friday
Compensation:
• Salaried compensation package will be tailored to suit experience and skill set, averaging
between $60,000 - $80,000 yearly
